This is one of the most annoying thing about this donghua/novel, Jun Jiu tends to let female villains go and they return to bite her loved ones, friends or her in the butt, the author uses the "they will suffer more than death if their lives in this situation with their reputation in tatters" yet even though they have a setback, they use this setback to plan more sinister plots

By the way this is a recurring theme of the novel lol so expect to see Jun Jiu letter go of female villains

I get the wanting her to live in shame and be miserable, but if I were Jun Jiu I would just off those bitches so I wouldn't have to worry about whatever shit they'd no doubt be cooking-up against me...

This is one of the recurring plot devices that the author uses when I was reading the novel I was much the same as you, "Just kill her already and be done with it, if you want her to suffer then have her boiled slowly in a cauldron of oil surrounded by large mirrors, so when her skin peels off she can see herself being ugly" or the very least cripple their cultivation. Yet nope doesnt happen. She is more lenient to female villains than male villains by the way lol

Now Yunxue will be using her original body's father's command seal to order his ex-soldiers around, almost causing Jun Jiu's death

Do unto others what they do to you, repay kindness three times, ignore the bad acts the first, then give warning the second, the third time, show no mercy and make sure they never come back to bite you in the butt :P A friend taught me that lol

In the novel there is a female villain that Jun Jiu shows no mercy finally after she caused her a lot of grief, she made a pill and embedded it in her that caused her to infected with a dissolving disease, and she was unable to heal and her face and body reverted back to what her age was, she was I think 200 years old, so her skin looked withered and crackling, she was with someone who was supposed to marry her, he knew she was very old, he was old as well, but to see her age from a young woman to an old bag made him sick lol, was one of the few times I said Yes!! Finally Jun Jiu that is the way to do it

This repay kindness and grudges thing is a recurring theme in countless wuxia/xianxia cultivation stories. I have considered it myself many times. However I am not committed to it. While it does have a lot of appeal, in the end it is not very practical in a modern civil society. Although there are certainly some corrupt politicians and hypocrite celebrities that I often wonder if they will ever truly get what is coming to them in this life...before they roast forever in a lake of fire.

If you believe in karma then yes they will get their justice later on in their life if not in the next or the next next. If you dont and believe life is just one chance then make the best out of is the only thing you can do. I always run by expecting more of myself rather than others, since you cant control what others do, and it is less frustrating then.
